Health and Safety Precautions, Requirements, and Procedures
COVID-19 Precautions:
The Great River Coalition complies with the State of Minnesota regulations and is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all participants and volunteers. To ensure we have a safe and healthy event, we decided to hold a VIRTUAL event for 2021. We did NOT hold an in-person event. Our goal is to mitigate the potential for transmission of COVID-19. We appreciate the support and cooperation from everyone participating virtually.
We had packet pickup at the Mill City Running and St. City Running stores. We are serious about health and keeping those places safe for everyone picking up packets. We will follow Minnesota Guidance rules as well as Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
All persons picking up packets are required to wear a face covering while in the store, both nose and mouth will need to be covered.
If you are showing symptoms or feel sick, we insist that you sit this one out.
We will follow disinfection protocol for all materials used for and during the packet pick-up.
Areas of potential congestion will be marked to provide physical distancing of at least 6 feet.
Weather Policy:
Events may be delayed, shortened or in rare circumstances cancelled, due to inclement weather. This includes lightning, wind, heat, snow, or the threat of imminent severe weather that may harm or injure participants, staff, set up crew and bystanders. Event time frame includes setup, race and teardown. All possible attempts will be made to contact those involved by email, website and social media. No refunds or transfers allowed.
